This May, the Detroit Regional Partnership engaged directly with global companies, industry leaders, and international delegations that are helping shape the next generation of our ecosystem. From the SelectUSA Investment Summit in Washington, D.C., to XPONENTIAL and MDEX in Detroit, our team showcased why the Detroit Region is one of North America’s most strategic locations for growth and innovation.

DRP and regional partners at SelectUSA
No other domestic event brings global decision makers together like SelectUSA. DRP was proud to collaborate with our regional partners, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, and several private sector investors as we engaged with international companies actively exploring future U.S. operations. In addition to business meetings throughout the week, our team participated in a panel focused on the future of manufacturing, sharing insights on where the greatest growth opportunities are emerging across the Detroit Region, from advanced manufacturing to mobility.

In Detroit, XPONENTIAL and MDEX created an outstanding platform to engage with some of the world’s most innovative companies in drone technology, autonomous systems, defense, and aerospace. Working alongside our regional partners, the DRP spent the week meeting with companies from across the globe to highlight the unmatched engineering talent, manufacturing expertise, and defense ecosystem that sets our region apart. The team also presented directly to international delegations from Taiwan, Quebec, and Switzerland, reinforcing that the Detroit Region remains firmly on the radar of global companies looking to establish or expand their North American presence.
Showcasing the Detroit Region as a premier destination for growth and investment is made possible through the collaboration and shared commitment of our public and private partners. We are grateful for the opportunity to stand alongside our partners and collectively share the strengths of the Detroit Region with companies around the globe.
