DETROIT, Mich. (June 11, 2026) – – Today, Bob Riney, Board Chair of the Detroit Regional Partnership and Chief Executive Officer of Henry Ford Health, announced that Maureen Krauss will step down from her role as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Detroit Regional Partnership and that Justin Robinson has been elected by the Board of Directors to serve as the organization’s next Chief Executive Officer.

“We want to thank Maureen for her relentless efforts to drive economic development attraction and regional growth across Southeast Michigan,” said Riney. “During her tenure, Maureen helped lead regional economic development efforts that resulted in $10.8 billion in investment and the creation of more than 42,000 new jobs across the region. She led the region in being awarded the $52 million Build Back Better Regional Challenge centered around the Global Epicenter of Mobility, one of only 21 awarded in the country. Her leadership, passion, and tireless advocacy for Detroit and Southeast Michigan have left a lasting impact on our region.”

“We know that Maureen will continue to be a person of impact and we wish her well in the next chapter of her life. We are also very pleased to promote Justin and are confident that he is the right leader to guide DRP into its next phase of growth and impact.”

Robinson currently serves as Chief Program Officer of the Detroit Regional Partnership and has played a central leadership role in many of the organization’s major economic development initiatives and business attraction efforts. Over the course of his career, Robinson has built extensive experience in economic development, regional strategy, business attraction, and stakeholder engagement, working closely with corporate leaders, local governments, utilities, labor organizations, and economic development partners throughout Michigan and across the country.

“It is an honor to have the confidence of the Board and the opportunity to lead the Detroit Regional Partnership,” said Robinson. “Maureen has built a strong and highly respected organization, and I look forward to working with our regional partners, business leaders, communities, and economic development stakeholders to continue building momentum for Southeast Michigan.”

The Detroit Region is a $331.8 billion economy with 5.5 million residents and one of North America’s leading concentrations of manufacturing, engineering, mobility, healthcare, logistics, and technology talent,” said Robinson. “The region continues to demonstrate strong economic momentum, with growth in GDP and population, while serving as a critical hub for advanced manufacturing, automotive innovation, defense, energy, and global supply chain activity.”

Robinson added, “Looking ahead, the Detroit Region’s greatest opportunity sits at the intersection of advanced manufacturing, artificial intelligence, mobility, energy transformation, logistics, and human capital development — positioning the region as a global center for next- generation industrial innovation and inclusive economic growth.”
