The Detroit Regional Partnership recently launched a comprehensive properties portal on its website, allowing potential investors to easily access site selection data. Utilizing the award-winning locational analysis ZoomProspector software, powered by GIS Planning, the portal pairs comprehensive location data with a properties database.
The properties portal is a user-friendly and mobile-friendly tool that allows corporate site selectors and businesses to explore available industrial, office, and build sites within our region in an interactive and data-driven manner. Users have access to demographics, workforce, consumer spending, talent, and business data for the whole region and for individual communities within the region. Some additional user features include the ability to search and filter sites by numerous criteria, create and share custom data reports, and add various data layers (such as post-secondary educational institutions and business incentives) to the interactive map of the region.
Through the ZoomProspector software, the Detroit Regional Partnership can manage the sites from the properties database, including highlighting featured properties and ensuring high data quality for each property. The Partnership is also able to create, manage, and share proposals as well as manage the various map layers accessible on the portal.
